Very hectic first day - met lots of people, had lots of training, lots of meetings and even sat in on an interview. Also got a new laptop and a new car. On your first day at a new job, there is an unwritten rule that you have to be charming. Hopefully, that will be the same as just being yourself :-). You often don't get a second chance to make a first impression. You want people to like you or at least have a positive impression of you upfront. That's level 1 charm.
